Engineer in Aerospace Telecommunications and PhD in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence. He is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Chile and his area of specialization is Multimodal Machine Learning. Currently, he is the director of three ANID R&D projects, including ‘An AI system for nation-wide agricultural production monitoring based on crowd-sourced and remote-sensing data’, focused on the development of foundational models for remote sensing applied to agricultural monitoring.
