Geographer and Master in Human Settlements from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (PUC). She has been a lecturer in Territorial Planning and Management at PUC for more than 14 years, and a professor in the Diploma in Geomatics at the same university and in the Master’s Program in Disaster Management and Risk at the Army War Academy.

She has served as Director of Outreach at the Institute for Disaster Resilience (ITREND) and as Executive Secretary of IDE Chile. Between 2017 and 2021, she held leadership positions in the field of Global Geospatial Information Management (UN-GGIM), serving as Rapporteur of the Committee of Experts and Vice President of the UN-GGIM Americas Committee.
