External call for proposals: LAC DGI Challenge to boost digital and green innovations in Latin America

The Digital and Green Innovation (DGI) project, funded by the European Union and led by Expertise France, has announced the opening of the LAC DGI Challenge, aimed at companies and entrepreneurs from Chile, Colombia and Panama. The objective of this challenge is to support technological solutions and innovations that respond to priority climate challenges, such as climate-smart agriculture, resilient cities, circular economy, clean energy, water management or risk prevention. Applications are open until 1 July 2025.

Who can apply?

  • Small or medium-sized companies, start-ups or individual entrepreneurs.
  • Academic teams in consortium with companies.

What kind of solutions are sought?

  • Prototypes (minimum TRL4) or innovative ideas (minimum TRL2).
  • Innovations that respond to priority climate challenges in areas such as climate-smart agriculture, resilient cities, circular economy, clean energy, water management and risk prevention, among others.

What does the programme offer?

  • Technical service vouchers up to 25.000 EUR.
  • Intensive technical support and business coaching programme for 6 months.
  • Access to a catalogue of open source solutions.
  • Knowledge transfer from European experts and companies.
  • Opportunity to develop your innovation using Earth Observation (EO) space data from the European Copernicus programme.
