On December 1, CopernicusLAC Chile signed a collaboration agreement with the Natural Resources Information Center (CIREN), and TVN’s Reporte Agrícola interviewed the executive coordinator of CopernicusLAC Chile, Macarena Pérez, to announce this new alliance that strengthens agricultural and environmental management by providing key information for public decision-making.
For Copernicus, access to local information is key to improving the accuracy of analyses: “CIREN data is essential for us, especially in the service we are offering in Land Cover and Land Use (…), in order to have a second verification of the data in situ or in the field,” said Macarena Pérez.
