Repository
The CopernicusLAC Chile image repository is a regional platform that provides open and free access to satellite data covering Latin America and the Caribbean, captured by the Sentinel constellation of the Copernicus Programme.
The service hosts satellite image collections that include optical, radar and altimetry sensors, with records dating back to 2014. These images enable the monitoring of natural phenomena and environmental processes across different spatial and temporal scales.
This service simplifies the search, visualisation and download of satellite data, making geospatial information more accessible and usable throughout the region.
Additionally, maintaining this large image archive on servers located in Chile speeds up access times to these images for users across Latin America and the Caribbean.
