The event ‘Satellite tools for reporting water-related ecosystem changes: an approach to satellite services available for monitoring water bodies’ will address the importance of monitoring freshwater ecosystems in the context of SDG 6.6.1, which assesses changes in rivers, lakes, wetlands and mangroves through satellite observation.

On the occasion, the scientific director of CopernicusLAC Chile, Jaime Ortega, will present the topic ‘Satellite tools for reporting on indicator 6.6.1’.
