The Copernicus Regional Centre for Latin America and the Caribbean (CopernicusLAC Chile) is looking for four professionals to join our team:
- Remote sensing expert with emphasis on oceanic issues: We are seeking a professional to develop geomatic analysis and products using satellite imagery, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and classification methodologies, joining the team with a focus on oceanic issues. Key responsibilities include processing satellite images (optical and radar), designing strategies for geomatics products, implementing open GIS tools, and coordinating with project areas, among other tasks.

2. Designer: We are looking for a professional to develop the Centre’s graphic identity and support its physical and digital communication tools. Responsibilities include designing logos, stationery, dissemination materials, graphic and audiovisual pieces for events, and managing the website and social networks in coordination with the communications team. Additionally, you will collaborate with other project areas to ensure the effective dissemination of the Centre’s activities.

3. Technology Infrastructure Lead: We are seeking a professional to ensure a reliable, secure, and scalable technology infrastructure to support Copernicus LAC operations. This role requires a combination of technical expertise and communication skills to monitor servers, networks, and security; deploy virtual machines; optimize system performance; and ensure operational continuity through disaster recovery strategies. Additional responsibilities include documentation and coordination with both technical and non-technical teams.

4. Executive Coordinator: We are looking for a professional to lead the comprehensive management of our project, including activity planning and execution, financial management, dissemination, and business plan development to ensure sustainability. Responsibilities include coordinating work teams, supervising operational areas, developing funding proposals, strengthening international relations, and representing the Centre in strategic activities.
