The current climate and environmental crisis calls for urgent action, but in order to take effective and sustainable action, it is essential to have up-to-date data and to analyse them properly in order to obtain a clear and accurate picture of the state of our ecosystems. In this context, remote sensing is a crucial tool that allows us to obtain data quickly over large areas that would otherwise be inaccessible. On the other hand, current data analysis methods allow us to obtain relevant information from the vast amount of geospatial data available today. At Lemu we are developing such tools, related to biodiversity estimates, land cover trend analysis, or plant species classification. In the presentation, the speaker will show some of these developments.
