Isle of Youth, Cuba

The Isle of Youth is located southwest of Cuba and covers an area of ​​2.200 km². It is the seventh largest island in the Caribbean and is known for its natural beauty and history. It is located about 100 kilometers south of Havana and is accessible by ferry or plane. 

The area's endemic biodiversity includes more than 50 different species of coral and over 200 species of fish. Numerous terrestrial species, including birds, reptiles, and mammals, coexist there in harmony. Among the fauna that are more difficult to find elsewhere are the Isle of Youth iguana, the land crab, and the fruit bat.
