IAC opens its doors to the general public on Friday 18 October at the Mico Convention Centre, Viale Eginardo, 7 – South Entrance
What to expect
Visit the IAC 2024 exhibition and immerse yourself in the world of astronautics thanks to numerous space agencies and companies.
Participants will have the opportunity to hear from experts from both the academic and industrial fields on space sustainability. Discussions will focus on space technology, economics and exploration, with their challenges and possibilities. To conclude this moment, there will be a section dedicated to collecting and answering questions and curiosities from the public.
Experience an immersive journey into space thanks to virtual reality.
Come and share your passion for astronautics during the Meetings with astronauts and the best experts in the field. Participants will have the opportunity to meet astronauts, learn about their experience, take photos and ask for autographs to remember the experience.
Conference Program
IAC 2024 Public Day will take place on Friday 18 October in the Auditorium (South Wing, Level +3) from 10:30 to 14:00. From 14:30 to 16:30, don’t miss the HANDS ON EXPERIENCES session outside the Silver Hall (North Wing, Level +2).

Registration is free of charge.
Important information:
The maximum number of participants admitted to attend the Public Day is 3000
with no limit for the morning session which will be held in the Auditorium from 10:30 to 14:00. The maximum capacity of the Auditorium hall is set at 1570 people, so access will be regulated based on the number of participants and seats will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. We invite you to arrive early to guarantee your entry. Once the maximum number of attendees allowed has been reached, access to the room will no longer be possible.
